With the rapid development of China's industrial sector, the large number of rectification and nonlinear equipment used by heavy industrial enterprises have also generated a large number of power quality problems, seriously affecting the power quality of the power grid and users' own power supply networks. 

 

Common power quality problems include: excessive current harmonics, excessive voltage harmonics, voltage fluctuations and flicker, three-phase imbalance, etc. These power quality problems can cause equipment damage and threaten the safe operation of the power grid and power-consuming equipment, reduce equipment utilization and service life, and increase energy consumption.

Enterprise users usually adopt a three-level distribution structure, starting from the 35kV/10kV high-voltage main transformer at the entrance, through high-voltage distribution to the 10kV/400V transformer, and then to low-voltage distribution, and then distributed to the power terminal equipment through the 400V bus and switches. 


Harmonic currents generated by nonlinear devices such as frequency converters and converters can travel up the power supply circuit to the high-voltage side. These devices may generate harmonics during operation, which can have adverse effects on the stability of the power system and the normal operation of the equipment. 


Therefore, in the design and operation of the power system, it is necessary to fully consider the impact of harmonic sources and take corresponding measures to reduce the generation and propagation of harmonics. Therefore, the solution adopts a combination of active harmonic filters (SFR-APF) and reactive power compensation (SFR-LCK) for harmonic control and reactive power compensation, in order to solve the power quality problems of enterprises.
